You really need to get into this delightful beach home to appreciate it. I know that's a tired old real estate saw, but it's so true in this case! In 2003, the owners completed a major renovation, virtually doubling the size of the home. The top floor was reconfigured with an entirely new, very large kitchen and a terrific master bedroom with a walk-in closet and spacious master bath with double sinks and private access to the upper level sun deck. A powder room was added, a new gas range, sink, counter-tops and pantry were installed, and hardwood flooring was added to the kitchen and newly configured dining area. The ground level was included with in the remodel, with the addition of a half-bath under the house accessible from the outside and a second outside shower. There is also a dry entry utility room under the house, where you will find the washer and dryer (replaced in 2011), and owner's closet and a second full-sized refrigerator. Two large storage rooms complete the ground level, which is paved the full depth of the home, and is a perfect place for playing and relaxing when you've had enough sun or on rainy days. A home security system provides peace of mind for absentee owners. Until the past couple of years, the home was used solely as a second home and the renovation was completed to accommodate the seller's expanding family. Even now, the sellers limit rentals to allow for as much personal use as possible, and this gentle use and the seller's attention to detail and maintenance, along with a warm, beach-themed decor, make this is a truly charming home. Add to that the corner location, with direct beach access at the end of the street, very nice ocean views from the upper level, a hot tub on the mid-level deck, and both covered and open upper level decks, and you have it all!
